Access Webmail

Log in to Webmail to read and send emails directly from your browser.

Updated

Webmail allows you to access your email account from any web browser without configuring an email client. You can read, send, and manage emails instantly.

Steps

1. Open Webmail Login
- Your hosting provider will give you the Webmail URL. It is typically in the format mail.yourdomain.com or server.yourhost.com/webmail.
- Open this URL in your browser.

2. Enter Your Email Credentials
- Email address: Enter your full email address (for example, sales@yourdomain.com).
- Password: Enter the password you set when creating the account.
- Some Webmail interfaces may ask for just the username (the part before @) instead—follow the form's instructions.

3. Click Log In
- Click the Log In or Sign In button.
- You should now see your Webmail inbox.

4. Explore Your Inbox
- Your email list appears in the center. Click any message to read its full content.
- Use the left sidebar to navigate between folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Spam, Trash, and any custom folders you create).

Common Actions

  • Compose a new email: Click the Compose or New Email button and fill in the recipient, subject, and message. Click Send when done.
  • Reply to a message: Open an email and click Reply to respond to the sender, or Reply All to include all recipients.
  • Move emails to folders: Select a message and drag it to a folder, or use the Move button.
  • Delete emails: Select a message and click the Delete or Trash button.
  • Check for spam: Look in the Spam or Junk folder if an email goes missing. Mark messages as spam to improve filtering.

Tips & Notes

  • Browser compatibility: Webmail works in all modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). For best performance, keep your browser up to date.
  • Logout for security: Always click Logout or Sign Out when you finish, especially on shared computers.
  • Session timeout: If you are inactive for a period of time, you may be logged out automatically for security.
  • Storage limits: Messages take up space in your mailbox quota. Delete old emails or move them to a local email client if you are running low on storage.
  • Mobile access: Most Webmail interfaces are mobile-friendly, so you can check email from a phone or tablet.

Troubleshooting

  • Can't log in? Double-check the Webmail URL your provider gave you, and verify your email address and password are correct. If you forgot your password, contact your provider's support.
  • Slow performance? Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.
  • Emails not showing? Refresh the page or check a different folder—they may have been filtered or archived.
